Dreama is a 16 year old girl whose main ambition in life is to soak up knowledge, and with Majesta being the Holy Grail that it is for scholars; she is absolutely thrilled with her acceptance to the school. Her visions of rewarding academia however are jarringly altered when she is confronted with a truth that she never saw coming. Bit by bit, pieces of her past come to light, and the nature of these revelations leave her questioning everything about who she is.
However there is no time to fall apart, even when situations call for it, because something bigger than her school girl reality, is always threatening to consume her. She is irrevocably entangled with those who seek to destroy her because of what she is, and it is up to her to overcome the shocking effects of these discoveries while maintaining a semblance of normalcy.
The transition from childhood into adulthood is a journey not without a loss of innocence. It is how Dreama deals with this process that makes the story relatable to the reader, undertaking perilous journeys that ultimately pave the paths to her truths. She is faced with the knowledge that the decisions she makes have such an irretrievable finality, that to err is detrimental not only to her, but to those around her.
